The Cub Cadet CC30H 30-Inch Hydrostatic Riding Lawn Mower delivers the convenience of a riding mower in a compact rear-engine design intended for properties where a full-size lawn tractor may be difficult to store or maneuver.

Power comes from a 10.5 HP Briggs & Stratton single-cylinder engine with 344cc displacement. Cub Cadet specifies a fully pressurized lubrication system using an automotive-style oil pump, providing a more conventional engine-lubrication arrangement for residential mowing.

The CC30H’s major advantage over the standard CC30 is its hydrostatic drive transmission. Ground speed is controlled through the pedal rather than through the six-speed Shift-on-the-Go system used on the non-hydrostatic CC30. This eliminates conventional manual shifting during normal operation.

A compact 30-inch stamped-steel cutting deck uses a single cutting blade and standard side-discharge configuration. The mower also includes a mulch kit, allowing clippings to be recirculated when that setup is installed.

The deck provides five cutting-height positions from 1 inch to 3.5 inches, giving the mower flexibility for different maintained lawn heights. Blade engagement is controlled through a manual PTO lever.

With an 18-inch turning radius, relatively narrow chassis and rear-engine design, the CC30H can maneuver through smaller residential areas and fit into storage spaces that may be restrictive for larger 42- or 46-inch lawn tractors.
